Hi, I'm Aisha Ishaq, founder of Love Learning Science Academy and a qualified science teacher with over a decade of experience in education.
I've taught science since 2011, working with students across a range of ages and abilities in both the UK and internationally. Most recently, I worked as a Head of Science, teaching and leading science across secondary and IGCSE programmes.
My experience spans Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and I have taught students following GCSE, IGCSE and international science curricula.
Over the years, I've seen that many students don't struggle with science because they lack ability. Often, they need concepts explained clearly, a structured learning pathway and consistent practice applying their knowledge to exam questions.
I created Love Learning Science Academy to provide exactly that.
Our programmes combine structured teaching with regular exam practice, resources and ongoing support. Rather than offering disconnected tuition sessions, our aim is to give students a clear learning journey that helps them build knowledge, confidence and strong examination skills over time.
As a home educator myself, I also understand the additional challenges families can face when navigating GCSE and IGCSE science independently — from choosing specifications and deciding between modular and linear routes to organising exam preparation and ensuring the full curriculum is covered.
That experience has helped shape the Academy's programmes for both school-based and home-educated students.
Love Learning Science Academy has been designed as a complete learning environment. Through our LLT Hub, students can access their courses, lesson materials, assignments, resources, session calendar and learning support in one place.
Students need secure foundations before they can confidently tackle more demanding questions.
Knowing the content isn't always enough. We explicitly develop exam technique and give students regular opportunities to apply what they've learned.
Ultimately, I want students to reach a point where they recognise what a question is asking, know how to approach it and feel confident in their own ability.
Our teaching focuses on three things: understanding the science, learning how to answer exam questions, and building confidence and independence.
I believe students achieve their best when expectations are high but the environment remains encouraging and supportive.
Our classes are intentionally kept small so students aren't simply another face in a large online lesson. We want to know our students, understand where they're struggling and help them make genuine progress.
Whether a student is aiming to secure a pass, move up several grades or work towards a Grade 9, the goal remains the same: excellent science teaching, clear structure and the right support to help every student progress.
